of isolated light showers or brief thunderstorm this afternoon
over the northern Sacramento Valley and southern Cascades,
followed by breezy north winds this weekend. Above-normal
temperatures continue through next week.

Predominantly VFR conditions expected over the next 24 hours at
TAF sites with generally light winds less than 12 kts anticipated
through 16Z Saturday. West to north winds up to 12 kts will be
possible in the northern San Joaquin Valley until 06Z Saturday.
Additionally, there is a 10-20% chance of isolated thunderstorms
over Shasta and Tehama counties this evening (03-07Z Saturday).
North wind gusts 15 to 20 kts expected after 16Z Saturday through
the northern and central Sacramento Valley.
